WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Acrylic Paint (yellow ochre, white and red)
- A4 Acrylic paper
- Pencil
- Acrylic paint brushes
- Water
- Paint palette
STEP 1
'Prime your palette'. Squeeze some yellow ochre, white and red acrylic paint onto your palette. Mix yellow ochre and white with a little water to make a cream colour. Use this to paint a base that completely covers your acrylic paper canvas.
STEP 2
When the base coat has dried, draw uneven squares to make the body of the pineapple and then draw the leaf shapes for the pineapple top.
STEP 3
Finally with a clean brush mix some red acrylic with a little water and paint in the pineapple squares you drew. Do the same for the leaves and watch a stylised red pineapple appears on the cream base. Try the same technique with different fruits for colourful, eye-catching art.
